On Sunday afternoon, one person died following a multi-vehicle accident near Scottsdale.
As per the initial information, the fatal three-vehicle wreck took place near Scottsdale and McDowell roads. The early reports showed that a USPS van and two other vehicles were involved in the crash. Officials confirmed that one of the drivers died of his injuries as a result of the collision.
Another driver stayed at the scene before being taken to the hospital as a precaution. The USPS driver did not require medical aid, officials reported. The intersection was closed as crews worked at the scene. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details are immediately available.
