1 person dead after a motorcycle crash in Augusta (Augusta, GA)

On Thursday morning, one person was killed following a traffic collision in Augusta.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place in the 3600 block of Wrightsboro Road. The motorcyclist suffered major injuries in the accident and was declared dead at the scene a little before 8 a.m.

The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. It is unknown if any other vehicles were involved in the crash. The events that have led up to the accident also remain unclear at this time. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
