Authorities are investigating a head-on crash on I-45 in Wilmer that claimed a life.
The crash happened along I-45, just before Malloy Bridge Road, southeast of Dallas, shortly after 3 a.m., Sunday morning.
According to Law enforcement, an SUV was going north in the southbound lanes. The SUV collided head-on with an 18-wheeler.
One person died at the scene.
The crash did not result in injuries to the 18-wheeler driver
An investigation into the wrong-way crash is ongoing. No additional information regarding the collision is currently available.
