On Monday morning, one person was killed following a bicycle crash in Baton Rouge.
As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run accident took place on Interstate 12. The early reports showed that the person was found dead along I-12 after getting hit by a vehicle. The body was first found at about 8:15 a.m. along the eastbound side of interstate near the O’Neal Lane exit ramp.
According to the officials, it seemed that the person was hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle. The driver of the involved vehicle fled the scene before the arrival of the officers. No other details are immediately available.
