According to the California Highway Patrol, a fiery motor vehicle accident took place on Sunday afternoon.
The officials reported that the crash happened near East Temple Avenue and Mangate Avenue in Valinda.
Jorge Orozco, one of the witnesses, stated that at around 5:45 p.m. two cars were engulfed in flames.
The neighbors rushed to save the occupants of both cars.
The California Highway Patrol reported that one car was heading east on Temple Avenue and the other car was traveling west when they both collided.
CHP reported that one person died in the crash.
The officials stated that 4 others were injured in the crash.
The identity of the victims was not revealed by the officials.
