Officials state that a man in his forties suffered critical injuries in a collision with a vehicle. The incident reportedly took place on a street in North Las Vegas on Wednesday, police add.
The pedestrian incident was reported at around 8.40 PM near Camino Al Norte and Craig Road, just south of Lone Mountain Road.

Officers arrived and found a man who was struck by a vehicle. The unnamed man was transported to the nearest medical facility in critical condition.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the man was in the street outside of a crosswalk when he was struck by a car heading north.
The driver remained on scene, and is not suspected to have been impaired at the time of the incident. Speeding is not suspected to have been a factor either.
