On Thursday, one person suffered critical injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Phoenix.
As per the initial information, the hit-and-run crash took place near 71st Avenue and Encanto Boulevard. The early reports showed that a vehicle struck one person for reasons that are yet to be known. The driver of the involved vehicle fled the scene after the collision.
On arrival, emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital in critical, but stable condition, officials reported. No suspects have been arrested at this time. According to the authorities, the injured victim works for Phoenix’s streets transportation department. No other details are immediately available.
