The crash happened on Flamingo road on Tuesday afternoon.
The pedestrian suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Las Vegas Police Department.
According to the reports, the identity of the deceased pedestrian was not revealed by the police.
The officials are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash.
Some portions of Flamingo Road are closed in both directions between Eastern and Burnham for further investigation.
