1 Pedestrian Killed In A Hit-And-Run Crash In Detroit (Detroit, MI)

The Detroit police Department reported a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian on Thursday. 

The accident occurred at Lahser and Verne.

A witness reported that the driver was heading down the road at a high speed when he struck the pedestrian. 

The victim flew in the air due to the impact and then landed in the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The identity of the victim has not been disclosed.

The suspect was driving a red Chevrolet Malibu, according to the witness. They were last seen heading south on Lahser.

There are no other details given regarding the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle. 

The fatal accident is still being investigated.
