According to the Albuquerque Police Department, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Albuquerque on Wednesday.
The crash happened near Central and San Pablo in northeast Albuquerque.
According to the Police, a pedestrian suffered major injuries and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition following the collision.
The identity of the injured pedestrian was not revealed by the Albuquerque Police Department.
The officials are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash.
Some portions of the Central and San Pablo are blocked for further investigation.
