On Wednesday morning, around 6 a.m. a motorcycle accident was reported to the Bakersfield Police Department.
The incident occurred in front of the school at Riverlakes Drive near Centennial High School from Hageman Road to Hawks Lane.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. There was only one victim at the scene.
Officials have reported that the rider was speeding. He struck the curb after failing to stop at the turn. The collision did not involve other vehicles.
The victim is yet to be identified.
Further investigation is going on.
