According to the San Antonio Police, a hit-and-run accident was reported on the city’s Northwest Side on Wednesday morning.
The official stated that the crash happened in the 6100 block of NW Loop 410 not far from Ingram Road and Ingram Park Mall at around 2:40 a.m.
The man was walking across westbound Loop 410 when a vehicle struck him in the exit lane. Officials stated that the driver of the vehicle failed to stop and render aid. The man was hit by a second which also failed to stop and render aid.
The San Antonio Fire Department and EMS declared the man dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the descriptions of the vehicle involved in the fatal crash.
It is yet to be determined whether drugs, alcohol or reckless driving were the factors involved in the crash.
