1 Man Died In A Pedestrian Accident In Nashville (Nashville, TN)

According to the Metro Nashville Police, a pedestrian accident was reported in East Nashville on Monday. 

The officials reported that a man was rushed to the Vanderbilt Medical Center and later pronounced dead after a crash. 

Police reported that the crash happened at Main Street and 7th Street intersection when a Hyundai Santa Fe struck a man. 

The 35-year-old driver remained at the scene and called the police. 

The detectives revealed that the man was not using the crosswalk at the time of the crash.

Police have no charges pending against the driver as no signs of impairment were reported. 

The identity of the deceased man is awaited by the police. 

No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the police.
