Authorities reported a pedestrian crash that claimed a life in Las Vegas, on Friday.
Police officials said that the pedestrian was pushing a shopping cart. A car struck him and he lodged onto the front windshield.
The car did not stop, and continued onto Washington Avenue and Rancho Drive where it hit a median.
The impact of this forced the pedestrian to hit the pavement.
The injured pedestrian was immediately transported to UMC Trauma, and was examined by a medical practitioner. However, he was pronounced dead on Friday.
Police authorities confirmed that the driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI and applicable hit-and-run charges.
