According to the officials, the crash occurred at around 2 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The incident happened at the intersection of Garces Highway and Melcher Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, atleast one person died in the collision.
A Dodge Challenger collided with another car on Saturday morning and caught fire, stated the officials from the California Highway Patrol.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be disclosed by the officials.
The incident is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.
