On Monday Afternoon, New Orleans police responded to a fatal crash on 2600 Paris Road.
The vehicles involved were identified as a Toyota Camry and a dump truck.
The Toyota Camry was travelling northbound on Paris Road, and the truck was travelling southbound. The collision occurred when the truck driver turned left onto the Camry pathway, according to NOPD.
The truck rolled over, and the Toyota was engulfed in fire, as reported by the investigators.
A 39-year-old Toyota passenger died from her injuries, and the other 71-year-old sustained fatal injuries. The third 5-year-old boy passenger is in stable condition.
The truck driver remained unharmed.
