According to the Los Angeles Police, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The crash happened on the 105 Freeway at around 7 am involving 8 cars.
According to the reports, one person was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision. The identity of the deceased victim was not revealed by the Los Angeles Police Department.
One of the passengers was trapped in the car and had to be extracted. Three people suffered major injuries.
The investigators are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
