1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured In A Pedestrian Accident In Sonoma County (Sonoma County, CA)

The California Highway Patrol reported a pedestrian accident in Sonoma County on Sunday evening. 

The officials stated that at around 7:56 p.m. the crash happened on Hatchery Road in front of 5736 Old Redwood Highway. 

The officials confirmed that two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle. 

The officials reported that one of the pedestrians, a male was declared dead at the scene. 

The female pedestrian was rushed to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major injuries. 

The identity of the victims was not released by the officials. 

The officials stated that the occupants of the vehicle, a Hyundai were not injured at the time of the crash. 

The driver of the Hyundai was not under the influence at the time of the accident.
