Authorities are investigating a three-car crash at an intersection in Rochester Hills that killed a woman and injured two others.
The crash happened at the intersection of Adams and Auburn roads around 6:16 p.m.
According to the officials, Mary Josephine Howe, 85, of Troy, was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Impala on Adams Road when she attempted to turn left to Auburn road.
Impala was struck by a 2015 Jeep Patriot driven by a 31-year-old Lake Orion woman.
Following the first collision, The Jeep struck a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by a 28-year-old Pontiac woman.
Howe was transported to a nearby hospital by Rochester Hills Firefighters. She died later at the hospital from her injuries.
The Lake Orion woman was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The Pontiac woman refused medical treatment.
