1 dead, another injured after a two-vehicle collision in Mission Hills (Los Angeles, CA)

One person died and another was injured Monday following a traffic collision in Mission Hills.

As per the initial information, the fatal two-vehicle crash was reported at around 5:15 p.m. in the area of 13470 Sepulveda Blvd., close to Rinaldi Street and the Eden Memorial Park cemetery. One person was declared dead at the scene by the officials.

One other person was removed from one of the vehicles and rushed to a hospital with non-fatal injuries. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.

An investigation is underway.
