According to the Bakersfield Police, a motorcycle crash was reported on Friday night in East Bakersfield.
The officials stated that a man riding his motorcycle lost control on Morning Drive just south of Highway 178 before 11 p.m.
The victim suffered major injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The identity of the victim is awaited by the Bakersfield Police Department.
High rate of speed and alcohol were the factors involved in the crash according to the preliminary investigation done by the Police.
The crash is being inspected by the Police.
