According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Harris County. The crash happened in the 2300 block of Brea Crest Street near Greenwood Village at around 4:58 p.m.
According to the reports, an unknown child and an unknown vehicle were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the vehicle was traveling in the driveway and struck one of the kids by accident.
The unknown child suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead following the collision. The Harris County Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
The accident is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. Additional information regarding the fatal crash is not available currently.
